+ TEACHER PROFESSIONAL LEARNING

We provide a dynamic portfolio of professional development opportunities in support of Northern Ireland’s learning leaders. Our provision has been refined over 15 years and our workshops are offered regionally for the benefit of schools, clusters of schools or individuals - at your location, through EA out-centres or online.

Safer Internet Day ‘Free to be me’ 2020 campaign focused on the up-skill the Digital Prefects with the addition of Green Screen by Do Ink and Book Creator application workshops.

Participants from the previous year were provided an opportunity to hone their skills and train the new year 8 Digital Prefects, as a means to enable the programme to continue without direct Amma support. The students were tasked to plan, produce and create a ‘Top Tips for a Safer Internet’ themed video to be showcased on Safer Internet Day.

This project has impacted our students in a way that we never could by delivering a normal ‘lesson’ in a classroom
