Explore Augmented Reality (AR) using the iPad. In this workshop participants will plan a simple story, create a series of simple 2D and 3D graphics and capture on video their AR environment to tell a simple story.

Get ahead of the competition by joining us for this fun filled workshop where you will design, make and market your own merchandise. Learn how to turn plain boring everyday household items into unique merchandise to take home to show off to your family or to give to your rapidly growing fanbase!
Extra Detail: Participants will need to bring in an old T Shirt that they will use to have their vinyl cuts ironed onto. AmmA will provide plain mugs / water bottles to stick other logos that they design onto.
+ Space Jam - Fun with Audio

Using the art of “sound synthesis” participants will work with AmmA digital specialists to create their own intergalactic soundscapes. Discover ‘synth’ programming and sampling techniques as you create your own unique “unearthly” sounds that are as big as the Milky Way!
+ Game Design using Roblox
Date: 6th July / 10:00am - 3pm
Age Group: 9- 12yrs
Roblox’s mission is to bring the world together through play. In this workshop, participants will produce their first Roblox game by learning how to code an adventure platformer. By the end of this workshop, you will be able to manipulate 3D models, design and test your Roblox game, code scripts to create cool, in-game visual effects and much more.
+ Digital Art

Age Group: 7 - 12 yrs
Have fun with colour, shape and space – release your natural creativity and imagination with a mixture of digital and hands-on art activities.
Extra detail: Participants will need to bring an old t-shirt or apron for messy work!
+ Code Camp
Date: 7th July / 10:00am - 3pm
Age Group: 11 - 14 yrs
Interested in the world of coding? Come along to this workshop to explore all the basics of coding and then using that knowledge to create Apps and Games. This workshop will be packed full of activities that will make you think, but most importantly, it will let you see just how fun the world of coding can be.
Extra details: Participants will be taking part in a Treasure Hunt - permission will be required to leave the building.
