Join us for a conversation with Christian Kotey, an award- winning make-up artist and filmmaker with an extensive 20-year career in film, theatre and television working alongside major and independent production studios. This event is hosted by Theoretical Physicist, TV Presenter and Science Communicator (as well as former professional footballer) Mark Langtry. Mark educates and entertains audiences of all ages through his RTE TV show ‘Let’s Find Out’ and live shows at schools, festivals and events across the world.

Deborah Riley is the award winning Production Designer of the fourth season of HBO’s Game of Thrones. She earned four consecutive Emmy Awards and three Art Directors Guild Awards and a BAFTA for her work on the epic mediaeval fantasy. She was honoured in 2019 by the Australian Government with the G’Day USA Outstanding Achievement in Television and Film Award and the University of Queensland recognised her with a Vice-Chancellor’s Alumni of Excellence Award in 2020.
She has spoken about design in the United States Congress at the Creative Future Caucus, The Smithsonian Institute, V&A Museum, Pixar Animation Studios and Film Schools across America and in Australia.
